15 Upcoming PS4 Exclusives That Make The Console Worth Buying
14. Until Dawn
Supermassive Games' innovative horror title Until Dawn was originally announced over two years ago as a PS3 title that would make extensive use of the PS Move controller, with players being able to use it as a flashlight, a gun, and many other objects. Since then, the game has been repurposed for the PS4, switching from first-person to third-person perspective though still retaining its core premise: 8 teenagers spend the night at a log cabin on the anniverary of a friend's death, just as a serial killer begins hunting them down. The game reportedly engages directly with horror movie cliches, so expect a title that manages to be both terrifying and hilarious all at once. In addition to all this, horror legend Larry Fessenden has helped write the script and Heroes star Hayden Panettiere has lent her voice and likeness to the game, suggesting Supermassive are taking their subversive stab at the horror genre seriously. Though it would be easy to be cynical about the game's unpredictable development cycle, what's been shown off of the new Until Dawn so far looks stylistically faithful to classic horror and, basically, a total riot. Release Date: TBA 2015
