15 Upcoming PS4 Exclusives That Make The Console Worth Buying
12. Journey HD
After Thatgamecompany's superb Flow and Flower were ported to the PS4, it was of little surprise to anyone that their most acclaimed game, 2012's magnificent adventure title Journey, would also be making the leap to the platform. What has everyone so excited about a 2-year-old game landing on the PS4? When Journey came out for the PS3, it was instantly revered as a visually stunning, wildly ambitious adventure game, in which players controlled a mysterious robed figure traveling through a desert to reach a mountain in the distance. Along the way, players would meet other people playing the game at the same time and be "matched" with them for a brief period, with communication being restricted to a musical chime. All of this, combined with Austin Wintory's ethereal, Grammy-nominated score (the only game soundtrack to ever earn that privilege) contributed to making Journey one of the most innovative video games of its era. To see a shiner-than-ever Journey show up on the PS4 is a rare instance where double-dipping actually seems appealing: to see those already-majestic visuals cleaned up for the PS4 should make for one of the most riveting experiences on the platform over the next 12 months.
