15 Video Games Everyone Expected To See At E3 2018
13. Mortal Kombat 11
Given NetherRealm Studios' tendency for announcing new games at E3, there were high hopes that the studio would reveal Mortal Kombat 11 during one of the conferences.
However, NetherRealm also have a habit of gently teasing these reveals in the days leading up to their E3 showing, and when that didn't happen this time, fans began to lose confidence in the much-anticipated fighter showing up at all.
And sadly it was nowhere to be seen, with Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon even confirming at the tail-end of E3 that the game definitely wouldn't be revealed anytime this week. Boon added, "I'm chomping at the bit to talk about stuff, but at the moment we have nothing that we're announcing."
Sorry, MK fans, but it doesn't sound like MK11 is coming any time soon (even though the last game released over three years ago).
