Though the Iron Sheik had made a series of fleeting appearances in WWE games, the latest before 2014 being Legends of WrestleMania, WWE 2K15 marked his first as Colonel Mustafa. The character was short-lived, only existing between March 1991 and May 1992, but was notorious enough during its existence to warrant an in-game appearance.

Just not two-and-a-half decades later.

Mustafa, as mentioned prior, was featured in the Path of the Warrior DLC as part of the SummerSlam 1991 'A Match Made In Hell' handicap outing, and was kept on the game's roster, free of charge this time, in the following year's WWE 2K16.

This was, at the time of writing, his final WWE games appearance, though he has had a few cards published in WWE Supercard, looking particularly frightened in the process. Presumably he'd just been told that he has to walk down a WrestleMania ramp again.
