8. Booker Is Comstock - Bioshock: Infinite
Plenty will say they saw this one coming - not because there's anything that necessarily gives it away throughout the game, but because like any series predicated on big plot twists happening in every instalment, it serves to make fans and newcomers alike try and guess the craziest thing that could possibly happen. Well, with Bioshock: Infinite, things got pretty damn crazy. There's plenty philosophical mumbo jumbo and emotionally heavy moments to wade through when describing all of Infinite's many twists and turns, but the main one you need to know is between two specific parallel universes. In one, a major event in Booker DeWitt's life caused him to become a rather large racist, a pivotal moment that eventually leads to him taking off into the clouds in an idyllic version of America, whilst the Booker you play as remained. It's all a bit mental (and there's a good wealth of plot being skipped over to summarise here), but especially in relation to infinite strings of universes all tied by lighthouses and specific people, Ken Levine's final dip in the Bio-pool was one deep enough to keep fans talking for years. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55SrSqufeH0
