The jury's out on whether the new, far more serious and controversial direction Kojima is taking Metal Gear Solid is too much considering the tone of the previous games, and if you want a fast-track to having an opinion on whether some things just shouldn't be made real - it's the idea of an explosive forcibly inserted inside a woman's lady-parts. See, the story of Ground Zeros and Phantom Pain is going to focus a lot on torture and the gratification it can bring to the person enacting it - something GTA V attempted before falling flat on its face. So in GZ, not only do you have the fact that character Paz was raped by another called Skull Face (who presumably placed the bomb inside her afterwards) but the scene where this is revealed actually starts with Snake and his crew having to remove another explosive from in between her intestines - the camera getting in as close as possible.
