3. Will The Next Call Of Duty Be Ghosts 2 Or Modern Warfare 4?

Release Date: November 2016 Infinity Ward are obviously hard at work on their first Call of Duty title since the franchise-low that was Ghosts, so they'll have a lot to make up for with their next one, especially with the inventive gameplay leaps made by both Advanced Warfare 3 and Black Ops 3 in its absence. At present there's no indication as to what the developer's next CoD game will be, but it's most likely down to either Ghosts 2 or Modern Warfare 4, given the risk associated with unfamiliar titles. Prediction: Ghosts 2 sadly seems to be the most likely bet, because despite it being the worst CoD of the modern era, it still sold like crazy and presents another avenue for IW to explore. Modern Warfare 4, on the other hand, may cause some players (or more likely, their parents) to confuse it with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, so they'll probably just avoid the mess altogether and opt for the "cleaner" Ghosts 2. Hopefully the gameplay won't be quite so blandly uninspired this time, though.
