1. The Most Expensive Pre-Order Edition Of A Game Had A $1,000,000 Price Tag
There have been some pretty crazy pre-order editions of games in the past, but nothing has managed to even come close to what Saints Row IV's 'Super Dangerous Wad Wad' edition offered. A GAME UK exclusive, one person with enough cash to splash got to embark on all the things featured in the above image, including a Spy Training Day and a guaranteed ticket on the first commercial Virgin Galactic space flight. The closest another game has come to toppling this crown has been Dying Light's latest 'My Apocalypse Edition', which promised parkour lessons and your own personal zombie shelter among other things. Even then its marked price was only a meagre £250,000 - a heck of a long way off from reaching Saints Row's monstrosity of pre-order publicity. Did you know any of these gaming stats already? Or did any leave you baffled beyond belief? Sound off in the comments below!
