As if the impressive visuals and time-altering mechanics weren't enticing enough, Quantum Break's most interesting selling point is that the game features TV show interludes to flesh out the story, but rather than be a gimmicky addition, Remedy are trying to make the game and live-action series companion pieces of one another. The game will show the journey of the heroes, and the series of the villains. The original placeholder cast for the game has now been replaced with a star-studded live-action cast, with Shawn Ashmore playing protagonist Jack Joyce, while the supporting cast is rounded out by the likes of Dominic Monaghan, Aidan Gillen and Lance Reddick. In short, if you thought that the TV aspect would be some cheesy, low-budget side-component, fear not: Remedy are throwing everything they have into this, and with a cast this strong, it's hard not to be excited.
