16 Video Games That Would Make Perfect Animated Movies
8. Pikmin
Could Pikmin make the transition from video game to animated feature-length film? Absolutely. Proof of concept already exists in the form of the three short films directed by none other than Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto himself, which debuted at the Tokyo Film Festival and are now available in the Nintendo eShop. However, unlike others on this list, it could arguably benefit more from a blending of live action and computer animation, given the realistic nature of the environments the characters inhabit. At the same time, seeing as there are rarely any interactions with humans, it's not strictly necessary, either.
