16 Video Games That Would Make Perfect Animated Movies
11. Kirby
Kirby has triumphed in both video game and animated television series form, so why not the movies as well? Of course, if Nintendo's tough cream puff did make the leap, it's difficult to imagine it being anything other than animated. One neat thing about Kirby that could work for the movies is that more often than not, he faces a different antagonist with each new adventure. Given that Hollywood seems to love ending legendary feuds with someone getting killed, that's a plus of sorts. However, in Kirby's case, his foes sometimes end up reformed and acting alongside him as allies, such as in the cases of fan favorites King Dedede and Meta Knight. Sort of like if Boba Fett threw in with the rebels after being defeated instead of being unceremoniously eaten by the Sarlacc, or when Catwoman joins up with Batman. Plus, as noted elsewhere on this site, the little pink Star Warrior does find himself in some rather intense scrapes that would probably translate well to a bigger screen.
