18 Hugely Anticipated Video Games That Must Be At E3 2015

8. Rise Of The Tomb Raider

Had you forgotten about lil ol' Lara? You'd be forgiven for doing so following the release of 2013's reboot of the iconic character, as although that game played surprisingly well (taking Uncharted's manoeuvrability and throwing in an unlockable perk system and a variety of melee attacks) it was let down by some controversial comments surrounding an implied rape scene, and Ms. Croft's general penchant for being depicted as an abuse victim throughout. Hopefully this time round Crystal Dynamics know what they're doing, as Microsoft have reportedly shelled out a whopping $10 million to secure the exclusivity rights on this next instalment - although for how long she remains dossed in the green colours of Xbox is another matter entirely. Still, with a gameplay engine that could beat Uncharted 4 to the punch (not mentioned on this list as it's been delayed, and looks to be more of the same) and one of the only characters from gaming's past that people actively want to love, whatever emerges following the close of the first game's story will help to build the Tomb Raider you're more accustomed to.
