Developer The Chinese Room's cult masterpiece Dear Esther was an important turning point for narrative in video games - it breathed a much-needed maturity into the medium itself and allowed other titles like Gone Home, Papers Please and even Bioshock: Infinite to be dissected just as much on an academic level as that of entertainment. With an apocalyptic setting putting you in the shoes of six intertwining characters, all telling their stories about surviving the sparse environment, you'd be wise to assume this is going to be another emotionally intense ride with every inch perfectly crafted.
