5. Steep Picks Up Where SSX Left Off

Maybe I just want a snowboarding game more than my next hot meal, but Steep looked pretty damn fun.

An physics-intensive downhill jam that lets you swap between snowboarding, wingsuiting, parachuting and skiing every time you restart, the aim of the game is to challenge the rest of the world at besting your most death-defying runs.

Yes, that's 'all there is to it', but if handled correctly (with fast restarts and load times so you can get back up after wiping out immediately), this could blossom into a fun "5 minute blast"-type game. And hey, that mentality never hurt Overwatch or Rocket League, did it?
