We called this back in May after an online CV showed 'Untitled Spider-Man Project' listed on a notable stuntman's CV, but it wasn't until that moment in the trailer when a recognisable voice talks about being "one guy from Queens" that the roof blew off Sony's conference hall.

Spidey was not only coming to PS4 as an exclusive, but he'd be developed by Insomniac, who are currently on the form of their career after knocking it out the park on Ratchet & Clank.

You couldn't have dreamt up a better pairing.
