19 Predictions For This Fall's MetaCritic Gaming Scores

11. WWE 2K16

MetaCritic Score: 71 What To Expect: Yuke's and Visual Concepts have a lot to make up for after the debacle that was WWE 2K15 (50-61 upon release, 70 for the PC version released earlier this year), but from what's been shown off so far, it doesn't much seem like 2K16 is going to be the radical invention that fans have been asking for for years. The graphics continue to look hilariously behind-the-times despite 2K Sports' other sports titles looking near-photorealistic, the animations look awkward and collision detection still seems way off-base. Yes, the gigantic 120-superstar roster is definitely appealing, but this largely looks to be another coasting entry into a series that's in dire need of a proper reboot. Do yourself a favour and don't blindly buy it just because it's the only legit WWE game out there: wait for the reviews and, if it gets pounded, try your hardest to hold out. Needless to say, considering that the series hasn't consistently scored 80 on MetaCritic in almost a decade, fans shouldn't expect much different here. Release Date: October 27 (US), October 30 (EU)
