1. The Post-Credits Sequel Bait
The game has its ending, but if you sit through the credits, you'll be treated to a post-credits scene, proving that even video games love to draw influence from Marvel Studios.
The scene in question has Jack Joyce be appoached by Hatch (assuming he's still alive in your scenario), who then offers Joyce to come work with him for their mutual benefit, somewhat akin to the iconic G-Man ending from Half-Life (without the implied threat of your murder if you say no, though).
Though the end of the cut-scene appears to kick-start yet another junction point, it cuts to black before the player is given a chance to decide, in one of the more craven, blatant sequel baits we've seen in recent gaming.
