20 Awful Characters In Amazing Games

The Grand Theft Auto series has created some of the most compelling and entertaining villains in gaming, with the likes of Big Smoke and Officer Tenpenny being great examples. That said, while Grand Theft Auto V is an overall marvel of a game, its main villain is kind of forgettable. 

Devin Weston is a billionaire venture capitalist who spends the game luring Franklin, Michael, and Trevor into dodgy criminal schemes, as all annoying rich antagonists should. While he's definitely hateable, that's about as far as his villainy goes. He's barely present in the story, acting as a background puppeteer and barely popping up in cutscenes until late in the game. 

He also lacks any intimidation factor or major criminal intellect. This might not be so bad if he didn't have Steve Haines by his side, who is a far more frustrating and menacing villain. Weston's lack of grit and fear factor may be on-point satire for a narcissistic billionaire, but it leaves him feeling more like a typical douchebag than a bona fide GTA antagonist.
