Worthless Mutt is a canine companion that you obtain after you save him from a cruel gnome who’s trying to beat him to death. Although his name might suggest otherwise, the dog has one of the strongest abilities in the game in the form of his basic bite attack.

Because the dog’s bite isn’t magical or enhanced with metal, the attack can omit most resistances in the game, and unlike conventional weapons, it’s immune to rust and disarm skills that become a huge issue in the second half of the game.

It’s also the only unarmed attack whose damage scales quite significantly, making it objectively strong against virtually any opponent in the game.
