In the Giza section of the game, Indy will eventually face off against a blindfolded giant who will pursue you solely by sound.
You need to keep quiet when moving around, then, which is easier said than done given the near-total darkness you're forced to navigate in, making it easy to step on, say, a noisy pile of coins.
Success lies in illuminating the room so you can fully track the giant, all while repeatedly attacking him and evading his grasp until he finally goes down for the count.
Much as the combat is probably the single most divisive element of The Great Circle, this boss fight's emphasis on creepy atmospherics makes it stand out among the rest.
Indiana Jones has always tap danced on the fringes of horror throughout its history, so to see such a full-throated return to that tone was hugely entertaining.
