20 Best Moments From E3 2014

10. E3 Goes Halo Crazy

No video game series had as pronounced a presence at this year's E3 as Halo. We began with an enigmatic trailer for Halo 5: Guardians, which despite showing off zero gameplay, was certainly cinematic and epic enough to pique our interest. Then the announcement followed that The Master Chief Collection, containing all four core Halo games, would be available for the Xbox One from November 11th. It will contain a proper Anniversary Edition of Halo 2 with gorgeous new textures, while also coming with the original Halo 2 multiplayer, perfectly preserved from its original Xbox days. In addition to this, all the multiplayer maps from all 4 games will be playable on one disc in 1080p, at 60FPS and running on dedicated servers. And that's not it: Ridley Scott's Halo series has officially been named as Halo: Nightfall, while it was also announced that the Halo 5: Guardians beta will launch this December. Needless to say, 343 Industries tore the house down at the expo, and certainly gave Halo fans plenty to look forward to this year.
