10. Marvel's Spider-Man 2

The game with the best movement of the year by far, Insomniac's Spider-Man 2 replicated the 2004 Sam Raimi movie tie-in of the same name, by doubling the F down on just how much fun it is to swing around New York City as Spider-Man, at increasingly ridiculous speeds.

Thankfully, now entirely a PS5 game, we have an SSD-backed level of performance, streaming in the entire city faster than ever, giving those of us lucky enough to have the right setup in regards to TVs, one of the most powerful console experiences on the market.

Sadly much has been said about the repetitiveness of side quests, the pacing issues and ultimate lack of the much-advertised Venom character, but it doesn't take away from what a pristine release this is from front to back. A refined approach to quickfire gadgets and new superpowers fleshes out combat nicely, so if you were looking for something to finally show off "what a PS5 can do", it's Spider-Man 2.
