20 Biggest Games Of 2015: What Do We Already Know?

4. Halo 5: Guardians

Release Date: Fall. What It's About: The continued adventures of Master Chief following the fallout of Halo 4. War breaks out in space once again, and while Master Chief is called up to take care of business, Spartan Locke has a separate mission, to hunt Chief down and save the galaxy. The Buzz: It's the first new Halo game on the Xbox One, and from what's been shown off so far from the multiplayer beta, the graphics look gorgeous. The campaign will meanwhile allow players to control Locke as a secondary character, hinting to some that he might end up as the new protagonist of the franchise if Chief makes an exit in this game or the next one. Will It Be Any Good?: Almost certainly. Halo 4 was a blast, even if the campaign was completely overshadowed by the multiplayer. Hopefully 343 will put a little more effort this time into a campaign that's fun, compelling and lengthy to boot. Early impressions of the multiplayer beta have been mostly positive, but then, that's hardly surprising.
