20 Biggest Games Of 2015: What Do We Already Know?

18. Batman: Arkham Knight

Release Date: June 2. What It's About: The final chapter in Rocksteady's Arkham series, in which the Scarecrow rustles up the Dark Knight's rogues' gallery for one more shot at taking him down once and for all. In addition, a new character created solely for the game, Arkham Knight, may prove to be Batman's most fierce foe yet. The Buzz: Rocksteady have promised that this will be their final work on these Batman games, so fans are expecting them to go out with a mighty bang. So far, footage promises gorgeous visuals, a compelling new villain (who may or may not be The Joker in disguise...please not), and for the first time in the series, use of the Batmobile to navigate Gotham. Will It Be Any Good?: It's pretty much a sure bet. Arkham Asylum and Arkham City were almost universally acclaimed, and so there's little reason to believe that this won't be the epic, action-packed, perhaps even emotional finale to the Batman series fans are hoping for. Plus, Rocksteady delayed the game from last October, so they're clearly focused on getting it right.
