Release Date: March 24. What It's About: A PS4-exclusive action RPG taking place in a gloomy, gothic locale known as Yharnam, in which the protagonist is searching for a cure to his ailment. However, a plague has spread throughout the city, transforming the locals into grotesque beasts, causing the player to take the role of exterminator. The Buzz: Bloodborne is developed by From Software, the demented genisues behind the Demon's Souls and Dark Souls video games. The developers have admitted, however, that they designed this game as less infuriatingly difficult than the aforementioned titles in order to appeal to a wider audience. Even so, it looks gorgeous and brutal. Will It Be Any Good?: Hardcore Souls players might find it too easy, but expect the same devilishly addictive gameplay, with the bonus of your blood pressure remaining at a healthy level. If this isn't a great game, it would be hugely surprising.
