Pyramid Head is perhaps the most universally recognisable and beloved aspects of the Silent Hill series. Though hes featured considerably less in certain games compared to others, his appearances have always been memorable, and absolutely chilling. With that said, nothing can quite top his introduction in Silent Hill 2, in which hes depicted assaulting two nurses in a sexually suggestive manner.
Its haunting and bewildering, and perhaps one of the earliest signs that Silent Hill 2 was dealing with more complex, and potentially adult themes than the first game.
