The game is about as trippy as this description makes it out to be, and yet, it does feature one clever Easter egg based on everyone's favorite movie snack.

One of the plant-based weapons in the game is a corn shotgun that, surprise surprise, shoots small corn pellets at your enemies. The gun isn't as creative as other weapons in the game, like the chili flamethrower or the brilliantly named "HayK-47," but when you mix it with fire, something funny happens.

Walking through a campfire or any similar source of heat causes the corn shotgun to suddenly start popping as the fire roasts it into popcorn.
