20 Coolest Trailers For Bad Video Games

By the time Breakpoint released in 2019, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon series had already established itself as one of Ubisoft's biggest tactical shooters. In the buildup to the game's eventual release, several of its trailers caught the attention of not just series veterans, but newcomers too, as Ubisoft showcased a particularly dark tone, as well as Jon Bernthal taking on the role of lead villain Cole D. Walker.

The game's 'We Are Wolves' trailer showcased Walker, himself a renegade Ghost, and his group of well-armed Wolves, as he declared that the Ghosts themselves were now the hunted. The presentation was incredibly cinematic and showcased a game of cat-and-mouse across the game's remote setting. Bernthal's presence as Walker added some much-needed star power to the project, and his menacing voice gave the whole thing an air of tension that made it memorable.

Fans and critics were hoping Breakpoint would be an evolution of its predecessor, Wildlands. However, this turned out not to be the case. On launch, it just couldn't live up to the promise of its trailer, despite Bernthal's best efforts. Breakpoint was criticized for bugs and glitches, performance issues, and its overall bland gameplay with underdeveloped survival mechanics.
