This squad-level, turn-based tactical combat game - set in the steam-powered world of the award-winning Warmachine tabletop universe - managed to almost treble its Kickstarter goal of $550,000. Having such a huge fanbase coming from the tabletop version certainly helped this campaign. Although it does offer an alternative to the titles based on the similar Games Workshop universe (Dawn of War, Space Hulk, etc) Warmachine: tactics is sadly another Kickstarter game that received mixed reviews on its release. With players claiming it contains a large number of problems, especially with the user interface.
