20 Glitches That EASILY Unlock Difficult Trophies

By beating Metroid Dread within certain time frames, images can be unlocked in the Gallery. By beating the main campaign in under four hours, players can unlock the Zero Suit image.

The only problem is Dread takes about 8-10 hours to complete. Like previous entries, most areas are inaccessible until the bounty-hunting heroine, Samus Aran, acquires specific power-ups. One of these items is the Wave Beam, which lets Samus blast through certain blocks or barriers. If Samus gained the Wave Beam earlier, she could zoom through every terrain in no time.

However, there's a way to trick the game into thinking Samus has the Wave Beam. When Samus fires a Charged Beam, she can cancel the recoil by transitioning into another action, such as a dash, jump, or a morph ball. If done correctly, Samus' projectile will behave like a Wave Beam, allowing her to reach off-limit areas.

Normally, Samus needs to fight the Drogyga boss before acquiring this ability, but with this technique, the boss encounter can be avoided entirely.

Although there are tactics to save a few minutes here and there, perfecting the Pseudo Wave Beam lets players beat Metroid Dread in half the time.
