18 Greatest Video Game Villains Of The 2000s

1. Liquid Ocelot - Metal Gear Solid 2/3/4

The one character associated with Metal Gear as much as Snake himself, Ocelot has appeared in many forms, chronologically going from a young cocksure twin-pistol toting Commander in Snake Eater, through to Sons of Liberty and Guns of the Patriots' 'Liquid Ocelot', the version of himself post-surgery that Liquid Snake's grafted arm has taken over. MGS 4 saw him become the most over-the-top moustache-twirling "Mwahaha"ing version yet, but it's precisely because of both that and his place across every title that he's easily one of the greatest villains of all time. Factor in that final fight you have atop a wrecked ship, his many monologues throughout the franchise and that superb scene where his army has commandeered an advanced A.I. system meaning he need only point at things to shut them down, and Liquid owns his position as one of the most formidably loveable villains there's ever been. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OeHgrf5z4C0 Who are your favourite villains to go up against or just to watch steal their scenes every time?
