2. Far Cry 4 (Nov 18)

The Far Cry series began well, suffered through a surprisingly boring second game, but then came bounding back with the explosive and psychological Far Cry 3, which was easily the best in the series. Going by what we've seen of Far Cry 4, it looks as though Ubisoft are well and truly running with the ball, serving up another vicious, superbly-realised villain, and focusing on bringing as many new toys to the table as humanly possible. Like just about every major game these days, there's a greater focus on multiplayer than ever before, with co-op being a major component of the game. From what we saw at E3, having a buddy swoop in on a gyrocopter to help raise hell looks ridiculously fun, and the ability for PS3 and PS4 players to invite even their friends who don't own the game to play with them is a major win. On top of this, the game has a new stealth crossbow, the wingsuit is back, you can leap from vehicle to vehicle while incapacitating the driver, and you can even use elephants to do your murderous bidding.
