8. The Division 3
In September 2023, Ubisoft announced that Massive Entertainment was working on the 3rd mainline entry in its popular The Division series, with Star Wars Outlaws' creative director Julian Gerighty appointed as executive producer . But for over 2 years after that, the game seemingly went dark. No footage, screenshots, nothing, which was fairly surprising given the series' popularity as one of Ubisoft's primary multiplayer franchises.
In January 2026, speaking as part of the New Game+ Showcase, Gerighty confirmed that the game was in production and described it as a 'monster', stating Massive wanted it to have as big of an impact as the original did. Not long afterwards, though, Gerighty left the project and joined EA. Massive moved to assure fans that this would not affect the project's roadmap which was locked in, but that is pretty much it as far as updates go.
No doubt fans will be hoping The Division 3 receives a proper showcase and reveal sooner rather than later.
