You really can't go wrong with any of the Disney games that turned up on the Megadrive - as practically all of them were platformers of the highest order - but Disney's Aladdin is the game that got absolutely everything right.

Featuring absolutely stunning graphics and animation for the time, the game was one of the more challenging platformers on the Megadrive but also managed to do an absolutely brilliant job of drawing people into the world of Agrabah.

Designed by David Perry - before he went on to form Shiny and create Earthworm Jim - the game is a treat for any fan of the movie and had the added advantage of allowing you to use a sword as well as throw apples, which is something the very different - but still excellent - SNES game failed to offer. Even the digitised version of 'A Whole New World' sounded brilliant.
