10. The Ebony Warrior - Skyrim: Elder Scrolls V

If there is any boss in Skyrim that feels like it was designed to test veterans, it's gotta be The Ebony Warrior. Many players never managed to reach this foe since he's off-limits unless the Dragonborn is at Lv. 80. Even though players would've maxed out most of their stats at that level, they'll probably be ill-prepared for this head-to-head.

The Ebony Warrior is deeply versatile, since he's proficient in melee combat, archery, and magic. He uses powerful Shouts, which can stagger, disarm, or instantly kill the player. Additionally, his heavy armour provides strong protection, while his use of healing items prolongs the face-off to an exhausting length.

Although the Ebony Warrior is meant to be the be-all-and-end-all, you can make swift work of him by performing a Shout at him while he's at a cliff edge. After blasting him, he'll plummet to his doom, ending the brawl then and there.

Now, this method works on numerous bosses, but it can be a feat in itself to position your opponent in the right spot. However, it's so easy to lure the Ebony Warrior to the edge, it feels like that's the strategy you're supposed to use to defeat him.
