20 More WWE Stars And Their Video Game Counterparts

17. Cody Rhodes - Nathan Drake (Uncharted)

An everyman hero in the mould of Indiana Jones and Johnny Knoxville, Nathan Drake is a wisecracking, highly intelligent character fully aware of the absurdity of the situations that he finds himself in. It€™s that combination of self-aware sarcasm and eye-rolling good humour that have made him one of the more popular video game characters of the last few years. That€™s the real life Cody Runnels to a tee. He€™s a highly intelligent student of the game, fully aware of the nonsensical nature of the gimmicks and characters he€™s been asked to play over the years, and capable of wringing each one out for maximum entertainment value, always thinking of the position he plays in the WWE food chain without necessarily chafing to move higher on the card. While his fans (me included) have often bemoaned the company€™s failure to use Cody Rhodes to his best advantage in the main event, there€™s no denying that he€™s been one of WWE€™s most useful jack-of-all-trades performers in recent years, able to slot into any role without hesitation. Oh, and apparently he€™s hilarious backstage. Good to know.
