20 Most Anticipated Video Games Of 2022

19. Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League

Platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, Microsoft Windows

From high-minded strategy and political machinations to gloriously OTT comic book violence. We weren't kidding when we said 2022's big names were an eclectic bunch!

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League looks to be exactly what it says on the tin: a no-holds-barred, zero-f**ks-given romp where you control comic books' favourite anti-villains on a quest to kill warped versions of DC's greatest heroes.

Interestingly enough, DC can look to its eternal rivals Marvel for examples of what to do and what not to do. Marvel's Avengers screwed the pooch by forcing gamers to engage in tedious live-service mechanics during the game's latter half. The recently released Guardians of the Galaxy game, on the other hand, focused solely on delivering a great single-player experience and was one of the surprise hits of 2021.

Suicide Squad looks to be following the latter's example, thankfully, and helping Deadshot and co. complete their mission should make for one of 2022's most gleefully entertaining video games.
