20 Most Embarrassing Video Game Moments Of The Decade
13. Microsoft Hates Sharing
Back when Microsoft first unveiled the Xbox One, fans were beyond peed off. The company had instituted plenty of rules and features that would change the way fans would be playing games on their machines, and most of it was for the worst.
Some of these features included an always online system; one that required users to have their consoles connected to the internet at least once every 24 hours to be able to play games.
Alongside came a drastic change in digital rights management (DRM). There would be a restriction on the amount of people that could use a disc, which would drastically affect trading in games and buying used games. Users would have been required to register each game online before playing. This resulted in a hilarious video from Sony on how you would be able to share and play games with your friends on the PS4.
Fortunately for Microsoft, they would back step on majority of the features they were proudest of with the Xbox One, but that's not before a couple more hiccups from the company.
