20 Most Ridiculous Gaming Peripherals

9. Intel Wireless Series Gamepad

IntelIntelPlatform: PC Worst Feature: Looks like a toilet lid. One of the worst things to come out of Intel, this gamepad accessory is from their ill-informed Wireless Series. With one of the least ergonomic designs we've ever seen, the Intel Wireless Series Gamepad Accessory eats up batteries, and even requires a seperately sold Base Station to function.

8. Speedboard

PressmanPressmanPlatform: NES Worst Feature: It's literally just a lump of plastic. Continuing the theme of awful NES accessories, the Speedboard has to be one of the laziest products of all time. This bit of plastic's marketing was centred around the fact that it would hold your controller, "so you don't have to!" Needless to say, noone bought the Speedboard, and it was discontinued only months after its release.

7. Samba De Amigo Maracas

SegaSegaPlatform: Sega Dreamcast Worst Feature: They were only ever usable with one game. Samba De Amigo was a fun little title, but even the most fanatical rhythm game enthusiast would be hard-pressed to say that the maraca accessories were worth it. Expensive in their own right, they weren't even used in the game's sequels, rendering them useless very quickly.
