20 Most Ridiculous Gaming Peripherals

3. ColecoVision Super Action Controller

ColeCoColeCoPlatform: ColecoVision Worst Feature: Requires the hands of a giant to use properly. The ColecoVision console's stock controllers were awful. However, the 'Super' Action Controllers were even worse. With 25 buttons on its plasticky body, the Super Action Controller was very complicated and difficult to use. Most of all though, it was absolutely, ridiculously, monstrously huge.

2. Tony Hawk: Ride Skateboard

ActivisionActivisionPlatform: Playstation 3, Wii, Xbox 360 Worst Feature: Managed to kill off the once-reverred Tony Hawk franchise. With the Tony Hawk Ride skateboard accessory, players could literally be Tony Hawk and ride around their living rooms pulling off jumpy jumps and triple flips. That's what the advertising would have you believe anyway. Rather, the skateboard wasn't particularly fun to use, and at $120 for around 3 hours of gameplay, it was a total rip-off.

1. Wii Wings

CTA DigitalCTA DigitalPlatform: Nintendo Wii Worst Feature: Absolutely everything. The Wii takes the crown for being the console with the absolute worst accessories, no contest. The Wii Wings contain no electronics of any kind. They just require you to strap them to your arms, and flap around like a bird while hopping about on the Balance Board. Apparently they were designed to enhance immersion, and "help you to truly experience what its like to be a bird." Either that, or they're a fast track to getting yourself sectioned.
