One of the goofiest features that Rockstar ever implemented into the GTA series was weight mechanics, unique to CJ in GTA: San Andreas. This system allowed players to alter CJ's physical appearance through lifestyle choices, such as diet and exercise. It was a pretty fun part of the game and allowed for special interactions and dynamic responses to missions. 

While plenty of players enjoyed this silly addition, this body-shaping gameplay did not return for the sequels. However, there is a silver lining for fans of the lifestyle-based mechanic, as it seems body morphing could be jumping back onto the GTA express. 

According to rumours, the sixth GTA game will bring this feature back, allowing players to alter the protagonist's appearance through weight lifting, food choices, and more. This is, once again, a system that reared its head in Red Dead Redemption 2, with Arthur Morgan's body changing depending on the player's choices. As such, Rockstar could be building from that same formula, implementing similar levels of immersion and realism into its latest project.
