11. "You Have Lost Your Connection To The Origin Servers."
It's the scenario we all dread. You're cruising to victory when all of a sudden, everything freezes and the wheel in the bottom appears as the game struggles to maintain a connection. Your heart stops dead. Suddenly, the game ends and the all too familiar phrase appears on screen - "You have been disconnected from your opponent". You frantically check your connection to see if it's a fault on your and and of course, it isn't. You've become another victim of the EA Servers. It's easily one of the most rage inducing things about Fifa. EA's servers for most series are notoriously awful but no game suffers as badly as Fifa. It's almost guaranteed that if you play enough Fifa online, a random disconnect will cost you promotion in Seasons (or, even worse, lead to your relegation); it's easy to see why it bugs people so much. EA, do us all a favour, sort things out!
10. Picking Your International Team And Finding The Squad Has Been Stripped Bare
EA likes to regularly update Kickoff squads to make sure they're as close to real-life as possible. As great as that is, when it comes to international squads, it can be a major pain. For example, if you regularly play as Brazil, you'll have a specific team in mind that you like to play with. All of a sudden though, Brazil have just played a friendly with an experimental squad and EA in their infinite wisdom have decided to replicate that squad in-game; wave goodbye to your finely crafted team. Club squads can be stripped apart too, but thankfully, this only happens following the real-life transfer windows, meaning you have plenty of time to adjust your team to cover any changes. International squads are forever changing, so be prepared to think on the fly when your first choice Brazilian striker is suddenly snatched away from you.
I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
