20 PS2 Games That Need A Modern Remake
5. Bully (2006)
With heavy hitters like Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption under their belt, Rockstar are one of the most renowned studios in the industry. Outside of their flagship franchises, the developers have likewise released a collection of smaller but equally substantial titles throughout the years. One such title was 2006's Bully.
The game follows Jimmy Hopkins, a 15-year-old delinquent who's sent to Bullworth Academy after being expelled from his previous school. Once there, he discovers the school is dominated by various cliques that come straight from any eighties high school comedy. Working alongside some new friends, Jimmy makes it his mission to take control of the school by winning the support of the various groups.
Whenever players weren't completing missions for each faction, they could attend classes, explore the neighbouring town, and complete an assortment of other activities. No matter how players chose to spend their time, Rockstar's penchant for world-building and sharp writing ensured it was always well spent.
Fans have been eager for a Bully remake for years. However, the studio's decision to focus on larger projects means that it's incredibly unlikely that players will get a modern retelling of this beloved title any time soon.
