20 Reasons 2017's Biggest Video Games Might Suck
8. It Isn't A Forza Horizon Clone - Need For Speed 2017
Why It Might Suck: The Need for Speed series has been on the skids (sorry) for a while, evident no clearer than by the franchise taking an unexpected break last year after the critical mauling of 2015's dubious reboot, simply titled Need for Speed.
Honestly, the incredible Forza Horizon series has such a foothold on the racing genre right now, which is clearly desperate for more games like itself and Burnout Paradise, that Need for Speed may as well just reinvent itself as a Forza Horizon clone.
If it's just more of the same dull wheel-spinning (sorry, again) that the series has seen lately, it's tough to be much interested.
Why It Might Not: It's entirely possible for Ghost Games to conjure up their own fresh idea for a new NFS game, or screw it, they'll just remake Underground, considering how much nostalgia is "in" at the moment, and how awesome that game was. No lie: it would probably work.
