20 Reasons The Year's Biggest Video Games Might Suck

6. Star Fox Was Shown Off To The Press 10 Months Ago, But They're Not Talking About It

Release Date: TBA The Hype: The first new Star Fox game in 9 long years, which will make use of every little gimmick the Wii U has at its disposal: dual screens allow for cockpit coverage, while motion controls can be used to steer the ship and target enemies. The game will apparently unfold episodically in the vein of a kitschy TV series, not unlike Thunderbirds. Why It Might Suck: It's a tad worrying that Star Fox was shown off behind closed doors to journalists at E3 last year, and 10 months on, there still hasn't been any direct feed gameplay footage (only this off-screen clip pictured above), nor have journalists been allowed to say much about what they saw at the demonstration. Is the game in trouble? Moreover, is it actually going to make its 2015 release date? Apparently the game will be properly unveiled at E3 this June, but it's possible that there's just not much to the game at all, and Nintendo knows it. Is it just a gimmick with no substance to speak of?
