At its core, Look Outside is a survival game where players must manage resources and their own needs, but there’s a fair amount of turn-based combat sprinkled in as well.
Every time protagonist Sam ventures outside his apartment, the world is in an increasingly upsetting state. This is due to an object that’s passing through Earth’s orbit, causing horrible changes to anyone that observes it directly. Contrary to the title, you should absolutely not look outside, and actually going outside is even more dangerous.
It’s a game that’s deeply unsettling in the best way that will leave you thinking about it for days after finishing it.
