3. Hadvar And Ralof Sneak Exploit - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim features a similar leveling exploit to its predecessor that allows you to fully maximize your Sneak skill and reach any level you want before you even leave the tutorial area.
The exploit is slightly more complicated than Oblivion’s “walk into the wall” technique, but only in that it actually requires you to do more than hold one key.
After you escape your execution in the intro and reach the end of the Helgen dungeon, you and either Ralof or Hadvar (depending on who you followed after escaping the executioner's block) will come across a sleeping bear, prompting a short sneaking tutorial.
Now, this is the only moment in the intro where your escape companion will stop to follow you, and you can use this opportunity to beat the crap out of them.
Because Hadvar and Ralof are both programmed to never be hostile to the player while in the tutorial, you can abuse their trust by crouching behind them and repeatedly performing sneak attacks.
Each attack will significantly boost your Sneak skill, making it a quick, easy, and completely risk-free level-up method.
You’ll leave the starting cave being able to kill anyone with a single sneak attack, guaranteed.
