20 Simple Game Exploits That Make You OP

1. Negative DNA Exploit - Spore

Oblivion Remaster
EA

Spore is Maxis' most ambitious life simulation game, in which you oversee a species's evolution across billions of years.

Evolution, as you may imagine, takes a lot of resources; in particular, DNA points that you use to give your creatures new and powerful body parts.

Early on, it can be quite difficult to obtain DNA points, but if you bend the rules a little, you'll be swimming in them before your creature even leaves the primordial soup.

When you finish the cell stage, Spore automatically brings you to the creature creator. You're only given a limited amount of DNA points to add new parts to your creature, but if you give your creature a limb with as many extra adornments as possible and then hold ALT to copy it, the game will let you buy the copied part for negative DNA points.

Despite this, you will be able to save the creature, and then the next time you evolve it, you will be back to zero DNA points, allowing you to sell the extra parts for a ton of free DNA points that you can use to instantly equip your critter with every upgrade available.

No one says evolution has to play fair.
