20 Simple Game Exploits That Make You OP

16. Instant Skip - Darkest Dungeon

Darkest Dungeon is an unforgiving dungeon crawler roguelike, where even the simplest task, like repairing a building, feels like a race against time and your ever-depleting resources.

As you send your heroes on missions, eventually you're going to grow one of your teams into your most powerful adventurers that you will rely on for getting things done.

Unfortunately, even the mightiest heroes get injured and overwhelmed with stress, so every now and then, you'll have to give them time to rest and cure their debilitating conditions.

Or you can cheese your way into being able to use them all the time.

Although normally the game will not progress a week when you retreat from a dungeon, the same rule secretly doesn't apply when you back out of the final challenge, the titular Darkest Dungeon.

This means that whenever you need to skip a week, you can send any of your reserve heroes inside and then immediately retreat.

This trick will let you manipulate the in-game time however you want and prevent those awkward periods of time when your strongest heroes are indisposed.
