Every Resident Evil fan, both old school and new school, will understand this vexation. The earliest form of this phenomenon came with zombies lying face down, pretending to be dead and then grabbing your characters ankle to bite a chunk out of it. This frequently produced a jump scare reaction in the gamer, but at least you got to kick off or squash the errant zombies head for a bit of gruesome satisfaction.
9. You're Probably The Only People Who Played Resident Evil Gaiden
Barry Burton staged a return in the Gameboy Colours Resident Evil: Gaiden. The powers that be could have provided this legendary figure of Resident Evil with a more illustrious comeback vehicle. Leon also pops up in this instalment, but his hair looks really bad in it. Gaiden is set on a ship where an outbreak of a virus turns the passengers into zombies and the unwinding of much plot mystery is left to the main protagonists to figure out. It was received rather poorly by the critics, but hardcore Resident Evil fans fans didnt care. Definitely the most obscure title in the Resident Evil canon, but if you are a fan, you will be at least curious about it and at the most, you will be one of the six people who have bothered to finish it.
